Child Development Seminar for Teachers (In-Service)
I teach a 2 hour in-service class to teachers and childcare workers who work with children ages 18 months to 6 years old!
At the Speech & Language Development Seminar for Teachers I will visit your group and present up to date information about developmental norms for children ages 18 months-2 years, 2-3 years, 3-4 years, 4-5 years and 5-6 years old.
The seminar lasts about 2 hours with a stretch break in the middle. We discuss typical child development, red flags that indicate possible concerns, interventions in the classroom and how to talk to parents when you have a concern. This seminar is available for continuing education hours.
